I am super excited to be going to Red Bank Village to see the Scarlett Mccaws.
But standing between me and RBV are 6 hours of public transit, 1 hour on the ferry and 5 hours on a bus.
Our first afternoon, we took a walk through a Mennonite village & across a river to the base of a mountain.
Then we did some exploring around our b&b.
The next day, just before sunrise we got a ride to Roseville Fjord where we started our ascent up the mountain to the bird watching station.
On the way back down the mountain, we saw fresh jaguar tracks. A momma and her baby had come up the trail shortly after WE had walked up that trail!!
